Sydney Australia Trip (September 2018) *Super late update*

Soooo I took a flight from Melbourne to Sydney for 4 days 3 night trip. I was told that there is another option to go to Sydney from Melbourne which is by train but it takes a longer time. So, to make it time effective, we chose to flew there. Here it goes!

Day 1 (Melbourne --> Sydney)
  • We chose Jetstar (Cheapest atm)
  • Checked in hotel, rest for a little while.
  • Chose the Sydney Fish market as our first destination in Sydney (Of course lol). The seafood there is soooo cheap and sooo fresh somemore *-*

  • Decided to make a spontaneous tour to the Blue mountain by ourselves.
  • Went back to the hotel and rest.

DAY 2 (SYDNEY)
  • Woke up early and took a train ride to the train station to the Katoomba station.
  • Walked to the Katoomba town to buy the Blue mountain pass.
  • Enjoyed our hiking day at the Blue mountain although it rained and we had to skip the steepest rail ride :( but we took the scenic skyway)
  • There are few levels of hiking suited to your level so have fun exploring the mountains!
  • There are also a lot of spot for you to explore by bus or by hiking so if you are not a hiker or just lazy to, you can opt for the shuttle bus which is included in your pass!
  • Here are the videos!

DAY 3 : (SYDNEY)
  • Came across a very attractive package so we decided to buy and visit Mdm Tussaud's museum and Sealife Aquarium.
  • After we were done with the visiting, we went to the pancake shop nearby and girllll I swear it is one of the best pancake shop I've ever had!
  • In the evening, we went to the Bondi Beach which is a must visit place when you are in Sydney! The view is fannnntaaaaaasticccccccc!

DAY 4 (SYDNEY)
  • Free and easy day!
  • Woke up late today and walked around the city.
  • Went to the Westfield, Queen Victoria building, supermarkets to shop for souveniers.
  • Also went to the Black star pastry to eat the famous watermelon cake in sydney!
  • Go back to hotel to get ready for our flight back to Melbourne.
  • Arrived and waited for hours at the airport before our flight got cancelled due to the weather (thunderstorm)...So Jetstar moved our flight to the next day (supposedly afternoon). They gave us some coupons to get some foods while preparing free transportation to the hotel they provided. It was a nice hotel though so can't complain much.
Golden Water Mouth. This tree is covered by 23 carat gold leaf at the tip!

My fav <3 these are so expensive in Malaysia. So I had these berries for my breakfast,
snacks, lunch and dinner. lol

Grabbing every flavour I can find

Bought these but never eat it lol.. especially the crocodile meat.. As a Sarawakian who lives
among the crocodile, I'll skip eating that meat.
(MYTH : Crocodiles can sense if you ever eaten their meat and they will bite/haunt/kill you for revenge)

DAY 5 (SYDNEY --> MELBOURNE)

  • Woke up early today to catch our flight to Melbourne.
  • Went to the airport but the flight got cancelled again until further notice! We were so pissed as this is the second time our flight got cancelled!!!
  • Went to the city for a walk while waiting for our next flight (night flight back to Melbourne; hoping there wont be no more cancel flights....)
  • But at the bright side, we get to explore Sydney a little bit more today and buy more stuffs lol

No, this is not the hotel we stayed in. Just passed by

Clear sky
Smile but frustrated inside lol

  • Went to the airport for the third time and prayed so hard my flight wont get delayed again. I have to fly back to Melbourne tonight because I have to fly back to Malaysia soon!
  • Thank god no more delay and safely reached in Melbourne.
  • Went back to hotel and sleep.
  • Woke up the next day and flew back to Malaysia <3 Home sweet home.
Conclusion : Even though I had some bad experiences in Australia but I'm still gonna visit Aus again!
